My glasswork divides into three very different but complimentary disciplines; My ‘SteamPunk Glass’ branded giftware where I make a range of decorative glass giftware from sparkling space pendants to artists pens – to highly complex sculpures taking weeks, even months, to create, often with dark & challenging themes. Then my signature space marbles where I use the unique optics of glass spheres under 50mm to create the illusion of distance to create ‘Spacescapes’ of 3D nebulas, galaxies, planets, & comets floating in solid glass
Glass Giftware

Space Marbles

About the Glass & the Artist
I make a wide variety of glass, from galaxy marbles that have been used in films, dip pens, jewellery, sculptures, even plasma lighting. Almost everything I make is flameworked, where I shape & form the glass in a superhot propane/oxygen flame. A little about my inspiration, how I work, & some of the projects I have worked on
